Hong Kong fashion labels are making use of this mainland fashion market through the Style Hong Kong shows. One such designer from Hong Kong started Koyo jeans, which initially did not have good business in Hong Kong. He then took part in a number of European Fashion Trades and found the right fit in Paris. Koyo jeans was introduced to mainland market and is successful due to the strong customer response. Another company, Hong Kong Fur Factory Ltd, also participated in the Style Hong Kong show, where the company sealed a Rmb500000 deal with a local agent. Before breaking into the mainland market, The Fur company used to export goods to the US, Italy, France and Japan.
